Who We Are: High Point LEAP (Literacy Empowers All People) is a grassroots, 501c3 nonprofit dropout intervention program dedicated to empowering children from cradle to college and families through literacy. We prepare children to graduate on-time, attend college if desired and become 21st Century leaders. LEAP also provides wraparound services for families year round.
Our Mission: Our vision is to eradicate poverty through education, community resources and local solutions that empower youth and families to reach their dreams for a great life.
Our Vision: We believe that education is a ladder out of poverty and we seek to hold up the ladder for children and families to climb out.
Our Motto: LEAP Into Knowledge So I Can Go To College!
We serve children and families to empower them to live their best lives. We provide hot meals to children daily, coats for the winter, books year-round for youth to keep in their homes and mentors to nurture and support children to succeed in academics and in life.
We believe education should be wholistic and unlock the door of opportunity for every children to succeed. We believe education provides a ladder out of poverty. We believe every children regardless of their zipcode should have the same opportunities.
